NOURISH YOUR HEART AND BODY: A WOMEN’S WELLNESS RETREAT

LOCATION: Hotel Le Sauvage, Besancon France

This intensive self-exploration 5 day/6 night retreat set in a beautifully renovated former convent is designed for women who want to be treated with more value and respect in their current and future relationships.

Morning and afternoon workshops and discussion groups focus on personal growth, self-care and self-love. Self-reflection activities enable individuals to do deep-dives privately during free time. Late afternoons and evenings are free for exploring and enjoying the city.

All workshops, discussion groups and activities are optional —you can attend them all or tailor a selection to suit to your personal preference leaving extra time to enjoy for yourself or to spend with other retreat participants relaxing in the hotel’s Turkish bath inspired spa space, enjoying the city or working on optional self-development exercises.

FIRST DAY “Discover and Own Your Inner Beauty”

Breakfast Rise when you wish and enjoy a typically French breakfast in the charming hotel dining area at your own pace.

Introduction to meditation

7:00-7:30 gratitude & meditation practice

8:30-8:50 Self-guided Independent Study (20 minutes of journaling in response to a prompt related to the previous day’s optional homework) The first day discussion will relate to that day’s topic, for example “Inner Audit: Embrace Your Uniqueness” a worksheet designed to help you identify the unique constellation of you that emerges when you bring together your distinctive collection of values, beliefs, origin, accomplishments, strengths…

8:50-9:20 Self-led group discussion (On the first day, a Sojo guide will model moderation). For example: Day One —let the group know how rare and amazing you are by sharing what you learned from the Independent Study Worksheet and find out what makes the other members of the group extra-ordinary.

9:30-10:50 Workshop DEEP DIVE: FIND YOUR VOICE Led by Sojo owner Lisa following a college-class format. Optional “homework” will be provided for those looking to spend the evening expanding their self-growth independently.

11:00-12:00 Aperitif & Discussion Group EXPLORING WHAT HAS SILENCED US A guided participant conversation moderated by Lisa over light snacks and a glass of juice, soda or wine.

Afternoon

2:00-2:50 Coffee & Group Bonding SHARING EXPERIENCES OF BEING UNDERVALUED A guided participant conversation moderated by Lisa over espresso or tea.

2:50-3:00 Break

3:00-3:50 Workshop DEEP DIVE: KNOW YOUR VALUE AND GET YOUR WORTH Led by Sojo owner Lisa following a college-class format. Optional “homework” will be provided for those looking to spend the evening expanding their self-growth independently.

4:00- Free Time: Dinner is not included to offer you the opportunity to shape the evening to fit your style —the choices are endless: explore the city and dine in a local restaurant, pick up some street food while window shopping, eat cheese and baguette on the banks of the local river or at the fortress overlooking the city, go bar hopping with some fellow participants… or grab some take-out and stay in for the night enjoying the beautiful spaces at the hotel for some “me time”…. the only limit is your imagination!
